Will Artificial Intelligence be disruptive once the technology has been proven in the Data Centre World (e.g Google Deepmind Project | DC AI S/W REX)?

While Google is experimenting on 'Deepmind Project' and University of Lancaster's Data Science Institute has developed Data Centre AI Software (REX) and Intel is releasing programs for Artificial Intelligenc.

Will AI influence Data Centre future in a big way?

Considering the massive benefits, will  technology driven Organizations professionally even consider budgeting for this trend in the coming years or will it be too risky for the idea to even be though about by old school Data Centre Managers in the very first place?
