It's like the nerve system in the body; organs will suffer deficiency if each one of them was working alone and by its own.

You cannot create any productive component, without joint-efforts within its elements.

Greetings, Absolutely Sir ,Yes! Without proper communication conflicts develop.Its very important that their should be an open and proper communication between teams.Explain clearly to your team's about your goals.And it should be be S-M-A-R-T. Specific, Measurable, Attainable,Realistic & Time bound.

Because Communication gaps can cause misunderstanding. And misunderstanding can reduce effiency.

Totally agree, communication gaps can distort the understanding of ideas, goals, objectives and required outcome. 

communication gaps can consume more time than allotted or available which results in  waste of resources.

Research show that people spend four fifth the time of communication explaining what has been said in the first fifth.

Communication is the most important thing in team work. Having the information kept on one side and not being given to the right people at the right moment, may be the cause of not completing a task which and never reaching team goals.
