Thanks

Regarding to which one is better, that depend on situation, organization, environment itself.

Centralization has a features which allow to manager to control more and evaluate well, with high ability to lead organization through one plan with iron hand, it is good when you use top to base manner as a method to lead others and organization.

Decentralization has an other features which allow to others to create and initiate under umbrella of HQ and along with head plan, in the sometime this manner distribute the risks on branches and departments and reduce it on top management.

Centralized:

+Less network interaction (Fast) to fetch data and such.

+Ease in management (Only a single management node here)

+- Could be automatized (Data processing).

-SPOF (Single Point of Failure).

Decentralized:

+Utilizing remote resources (Processors) not overexerting a single point.

+No SPOF here. Each point can work as both a server and a client to interact with each other. Just like in network routing: if a router fails or is congested another route will be elected; another server will be elected.

+Many platforms, protocols, and frameworks require a decentralized scheme to perform multi-processor computation. (Fog Computing) or (Mobile-Edge Computing).

+ It is the trend in technology now.

-I guess security comes into concern here. There has to be warranted that each point is secured (network-wise).

-Depending on the application that is using this architecture, this can be slower than the centralized arch. and highly relies on network availability on each node.

Thanks for invitation,

Advantages of the centralization of the authority:

1- Minimizing cost and expenses.

2- Responsibilities and duties are well defined.

3- Depends largely on the general consensus.

4- Decision making is very direct and clear.

Disadvantages of the centralization of the authority.

1-Decisions may be misled while passing on and lower position departments don't have the decision-making power, therefore it requires efficient and well-organised top department.

2- Attentions and support on each department or cities may not be balanced.

3- Delay of work information may result in inefficiency of the government.

4-Discrepancies in economy and information resources between centre and other places are significant.
