Yes but this is with reference to t he specific jobs otherwise not discremination.
Some of positions and industries required specific gender.
The company should take into consideration the experience and qualification for the candidates regardless the gender if the nature of work fit for both (male and female)
yes, it have to be like that becous some work can be done by "gender" and can not be doe by the other "gender"
yes
I do not really agree with the comment that gender has become an issue/matter in recruitments. First of all, in an organization, it should be for equal opportunity and should not exist any discrimination. Recruitment should be based on merit and experience. However, in certain circumstances, due to the nature of job there could be some preference either male or female. This should be decided by the management of that particular organization.
Yes we can say easily because in some position on BAYT its mentioned for GENDER- Male .
:)
yes off course
bcoz each n every sector have divided according to gender (either males or females)
Let me approach my question in this way; sometimes companies write on the job advertisment -regardless the job specification either related to men or female- that they need female/ male. how do you address this.
Mr. Mohammad, as you have re-define your query, for such, I do guess the requirement of gender via job details or if such details are not given then job title could also explain a lot. Sometime the technical jobs like, out-door work, plant engineering and esp the site or heavy maintenance related job required male as it need intense, heavy and tough requirement. Though, I saw that certain site supervisors in civil engineering are back by male. But there are many position related to Sales, marketing, IT, HR, Medical or other professions where equal representation has been noted.
There is no harm in specifying the gender as it bring clarity and future expectation from employee and employer side.
