Most businesses leverage industry trends, innovative ideas and customer and business needs to create products and services customers are willing to purchase and refer to their friends and family. While their are many factors and stakeholders to consider when running a small business, some owners lean towards operating customer-focused businesses, which operate based on customers’ needs and demands. There are a variety of advantages and disadvantages for every company adopting a customer-focused business approach.
Your questions typically hits in the product focused organizations which is different than the customer focused organizations in terms of that product focused organizations have a vision and road map for a specific or different products based on a product delivery that the whole teams believe that it will meet the market demand, whatever the type of market or whatever the market may be.
For example: Apple products and specifically the ipad is a classic example of what i mean.
Thanks for invitation,
I do believe that all companies has to be "Customers' Focusing" , in order to meet its internal and external customers' satisfactions.
In short, any type of company or companies find it difficult and can’t become customer focused if not providing their employee proper training, tools that assist customer and employee to stay on one page, proper training about the product, making a list and understanding what customer is asking for, or in simply way opening a company but doesn’t have customer skills nor interested to learn and move on. Of course, by lacking of these important things it would difficult to become customer focused.
Why?
Very simple, as are not providing few important skills to your employee it would be difficult to make a change and possibly will be stuck in the same question. As we all know, customer focusing is very important to maintain your company graph and moving easily in future.
All these skills are important in a company Empowerment, customer service, and leader ship, customer first, hiring and training.
It all depending upon the business volume, large scale business can not avoid their customers but small scale business do not have enough money or budgets to invest in the customer services.
Thanks for the invitationwill lose many if not the customer because the customer is what makes the profits of the company and a lack of attention by will make the company loses in the end.
Service provider based companies
Some companies really understand customer service. They know how to hire for it, train for it and deliver it. Other companies claim to give customer service, but in reality, they are grounded in an operations mentality with rules and policies that allow for little flexibility, preventing them from being anything more than just average or satisfactory.
The customer-focused company looks at customer service as a philosophy to be embraced by every employee of the company, recognizing that there are both external and internal customers. The operations-focused company sees customer service as a department.
Thanks

maximum profit oriented companies, which want just to collect more and more money at once.
Companies that offer Products rather than Services are less likely to be Customer focused. However, now a days, I don't think there are any companies which are not customer focused because, be it products or services, finally the end user has to be satisfied.
