Parent teacher meetings are extremely important and useful not only to a teacher but to the administrator who listens.  Many times students and teachers may misunderstand each other.  When parents, teachers, students and administration and know each other, every party is more receptive to the learning process.    Parents are as important in the learning process as the students and the teachers.  If the parent and student buy into the learning, it gives that student and teacher an advantage.
