What's the best writing routine you believe writers - beginners or not - should stick to?

I do not know much about the routine of other WRITERS but for me the best time to write something is at night or midnight because firstly, darkness is a space where you find out a lot about people and other stuffs and secondly, at night you get many thoughts related to life decisions, related to  people, places, things going around you and etc

I myself is a frustrated writer so I need an advice on this rather than giving out mine. But as I understand on how things are in life, Big things comes from small things. So, start doing short essays or stuffs like that and read a lot too.

Writers? I am not a writer, so I can only guess that a good aspiring writer or a new blood one should work out a certain discipline of writing at least 10 pages of text a day in order to keep the stamina strong and get it going
