in regards of marine claim with mentioned above, starting from crane spreader touching the container in hold is responsible from the port.

In line with the accident, ship duty officer report to Master and call to port foreman to discuss the incident and make damage report content of sequence of event and signed together vessel and the port duty authority.

this is an international law situation.

usually the shipping materials or items are the responsibility of the manufacturer until the point where the container has been stamped and sealed by the customers officers. from the they will be the responsibility of the buyer.

the buyer can mitigate the risk of loss of products or damage or quality of the product by an additional insurance on his own cost. ther is another way how to mitigate risk in importation. an insurance company can take on her own responsibility to control the quality at the end point and to liberate the LC at the time of opening the container and inspecting quality and quantity of the shipment.

manage the terms and conditions of your contract with the seller and evaluate your risks then take a decision about what to chose as plan.

Thanks
