Bad or not good enough leadership :

Unwise decisions can be taken

Will lead to confusion and improper coordination among the Team

May not get the job done and if it does there will be delays, going over budget and too many mistakes

Ahmad H Jomaa - Project site engineer at Alban company for trading and investment.

I worked for the past five years in many construction sites at Juba, South Sudan under the leadership of a project manager with a successful track record of 20 years in Germany.

Relying on his history in construction firm and expertise my manager was confident in a way to take decision without taking in consideration the special condition in africa like the qualification of local workers, the difficulty of planning for timesheet similar to those of construction projects in Germany or Europe in general especially that shipping construction materials from outside the country takes time.

In addition to that the project manager was not setting for meetings enough to explain the aim of works, the importance of meeting deadlines and to motivate the workers wich led to a lack clarity of purposes among the workers.

All these factors put me down in a bad work conditions in the field and weakened the trust with the leadership.
