Why should I pay attention to details when I am a manager?

effective manager is the one who have all the details, "job details - details of staff - Product details - details of services," so he can control the company's management and control of the volume of work and directing the staff ...
he also can predict problems before they occur

Managers should pay attention to details because most of problems are exist in " details".
Many of the most common managers challenges arise when managers are either unaware of common pitfalls, or are inattentive to developing problems, so they should take in account these issues: Motivating Employees.
Cultivating Leadership Experience.
Creating Team Unity.
Facilitating Open Communication.
Encouraging Action and Innovation.
Information Management, Consistency, and Other Details Challenges.

Being a manager I communicate business information with senior/line management as well as with external parties in various forms such as reports, presentations, queries etc.
Based on these information, senior/line management make decisions for short and/or long term in favor of business, and external parties communicate accordingly.
Therefore, I have to make sure that these information are: 1.
Accurate and complete, 2.
Obtained from reliable sources, and 3.
Covering all related subject areas.
Also, being a mentor, I have responsibility towards my sub-ordinates as well.
That’s why I am required to pay attention to details.

No matter how big or small your task is as a manager it's important to pay attention to the details....you will think now that you have bigger responsibilities to take care of and that you have the staff below you to do all the smaller things you use to do once upon a time, and you have more important things to do and think about, more responsibilities right? Well if you think like this you are wrong! You have to slow down and take a certain time to pay attention to certain details, maybe you will work longer hours, because you can't sacrifice quality for quantity.
Big things come from small things....If you are handling or working on a project or tasks, you have delegated your team members according to their position..supervisors, seniors, juniors etc...staff can make errors, this is why paying attention to details is highly recommended even if you're a manager...depending on situations it can lead up to financial losses..
But of course you still have to stick to your major responsibilities and give attention to certain things at certain times, to not as well loose your focus on what is delegate to you asd a manager.
Now not everyone are detailed oriented, but they can learn how to be or put up systems to help them in this....

Because small details can lead to a big disaster or lead to a big achievement but its up to you how you are going to treat this small details

Doing work under pressure equals mistakes or brilliance it all depends on your attention to detail and ability to quickly adjust to change.

The higher the position, the higher is the responsibility.
Successful managers pay attention to details, they track the performance all the time.
Being successful in doing your job the right way is the reason of you being a manager now, so why would you stop doing efforts?

Attention to details can give you insights for future planning and to understand the process.
You can't be a good manager if you don't know the details of the tasks assigned to you or your team.
If you know the details, you can guide your team to be effective and efficient.
Otherwise, you could become a toy in the hands of your team.
Attention to details always help you to find problems or the improvements required.

Manger should pay his attention to all aspect because every paiinter can never draw a master peice , a master piece is drawn when every and a tiny part will be observed by painter, so the true and clear picture only be drawn when all detail must considered.
