A Manager should focus on the actual feedback received and not on the person. So he/she should listen carefully on what his or her team member is saying and thank him/her for the feedback provided

Whoever does not commit mistakes does not learn

He must :

  • Acknowledge its mistake
  • Apologize for its mistake
  • keep cool
  • React favorably
  • Thank the employee for his intervention
  • Accept critic
  • To self-control
  • Felicitate employee for his courage and his audacity
  • Accept the diversity of opinions
  • Think that it is enriched by the opinion of others

He must not

  • To get excited
  • To get angry
  • Make unpleasant remarks
  • Humiliate the employee
  • To turn against the employee
  • Feel humiliated
  • Suspend the meeting
