Both works in a similar way and having same weight. however, some times Practice is required more then Theory.
A utmost responsibility of a manager is to manage things. to get things done. To be a good manager, he must have three things. one, Theory, two Practice and three knack.
Theory is needed to know the basics. because without basic, only practicde may not hold water all the times.
two Practice is also needed because without proper practice, theories will not help you in delievering the desired results.
and lastly knack to get things done is also a must. without this knack many managers with good theory and practice will fail in getting things done.
I hopw you all agree with me.
PRACTICE FOUNDED ON TIME AND TESTED THEORIES. EFFECTIVELY PRACTICE
Experience makes one better, obviously of the person learns from the experiences in life.
More practice. You will need more theory if you want to teach how to be a good manager.
Practice makes perfection, Theory leaves you with lots of question marks for true and false !
A combination of both, theory is useless unless put to practice. Practical experience teaches you more than anything else however, you may use the set theory to begin with and then make your own innovative steps.
A good manager already has tonnes of current theories with him. It helps him analyse things better that way. Theory, after all, is a concept waiting to be pit into;practice.
thanks. for the invite
mix of the two practice & theories
Practical Theories =D therefore both are important. I personally perfer and admire a manager with leadership qualities.
