Salary depending on years in company? Do you support such a concept?

I.e. of two employees on same position the one who spent more years within the company will get a bigger salary. What do you think?

Dear Sirs. A salary is agreed under a contract with the employee. A salary is not depends of the performances only. Depending of the years, perhaps the salary is lower or higher...on appraisal performances, but also forgetting the handwork.

We have another matter at the administration. This is concern on cut salaries..or renumeration. Sometines the company prefer basis salary, plus commision. Or well at Gulf, the policies is justly salary...or commision. It will be a matter on motivation..and of course HR on supervision of the the productivity and benefits of the company...
