9.Knowing how to delegate
being a team leader, you have to analyze first,
1- does your team member have efficient knowledge about the task.
2- does he/she is requiring feedback becasue need support to move further or to know the final words only.
when you analyze above two things, then your feed back should consist of
1- appreciation about effort i.e. you are marvelous, really working hard.
2- Briefing about more option i.e. task is good but what if you think about this this this..
3- offer him support if needed, or guide him, from where more support is expected.
- give prompt feedback
- feedback should be clear and succinct
For negative feedback
- should be given privately
- make sure the situation is correct before giving feedback to avoid unnecessary blame
- dont give feedback while in your emotions (angry)
Feedback is an essential part of delivering a completed project through the knowledge and skills with range and criteria for the person. It means recogising the range covered and criteria understood by the individual, honesty is important and positive criticism eith a constructive approach to encourage the person to feel his or her worth and also to know that the person is being genuine to them. It can be given on a one-to-one in a planned meeting to discuss the potential of the individual or when in-front of a teamor team-mates, so that everyone is able to recognise the person fully, follow his or her example and achieve in the same way. Feedback is crucial to an individual as it helps them progress further in their projects or on the course. Example by helping in the office on a database and achieving the sales targets for the month. Updating information so that people can benefit with correct information. Helping an elderly person on the shop floor to get the things they need and take it to the counter for final payment, helping a disabled person to feel happy just by a great smile or a greeting as they enter the premises. Sometimes it is not very easy to give feedback to an individual delivering with wrong techniques....hence it takes alittle diplomacy and care to make the individual follow instruction and rules to deliver properly. It is clear, concise, clarity, communication and confidence to relate to good feedback. A supervisor or a Manager can do this positively and build the esteem of a person.
Thanks.
I agree to what colleagues said, especially Mr. Kelly MacLean , grace asemota and Taimur Raza Khan
Thank
Know yourself and be alone alone
Make your goal of persuasion and delivery of the idea; because the debate is not a war and there is no need to insult others or sarcasm.
Start with the agreed and used it to reach your goal, always agreed is the right way to start.
Do not be fanatic and respect the other opinion, and I know that if you think right, it is likely wrong, and if the opinion of others wrong, it is likely right.
Hold the stick from the half, I mean not harden and do not get too much, was asked Muawiya how was his way of governance, he said that he made between him and people hair if he saw that they languor and made the opposite, so as not to break the hair.
Learn the art of listening and do not interrupt people until they finish their words, the good listener is a good speaker.
Thank's
Giving feedback effectively is a skill. And like all skills, it takes practiceto build your confidence and improve
Before giving feedback make sure you remind yourself why you are doing it. The purpose for giving feedback is to improve the situation or performance. You won't accomplish that by being harsh, critical, or offensive.
The closer to the event you address the issue, the better. Feedback isn't about surprising someone so the sooner you do it, the more the person will be expecting it.
Feedback is a process that requires constant attention. When something needs to be said, say it. People then know where they stand all the time and there are few surprises.
You don't want to read a script but you do need to be clear about you are going to say.
Tell the person exactly what they need to improve on.
Thanks
I strongly agree with the answer which given by my colleague Maher

The most important thing here is on-the-job training and trying to facilitate group learning among the team members and he as a one of them
