NAT is Network Adress Translation . NAT does translations, maps addresses from one to other.There are three types of NAT

1- Static NAT

2- NAT overload

3- Dynamic NAT with overload

Route is a path to get to required destination. There are two types of routes:

1- Static Routes

2- Dynamic Routes
