Evolution of Virtualization enforces the technology to enable all hardware enabled services to cloud aware and easy to manage. This leads the developers to develop the SDN. It makes NOC engineers to ensure network traffic flow from physical networking layers to virtualized data layer. IaaS is the best example to make use of SDN.

Presently IT Infrastrucutre consolidating to virtualization and cloud aware services which need SDN as a base for the access control, traffic flow, flood control and much more networking services.
