Although compensation package is really a major factor (since I believe that every employees shall be compensated based on their level of efforts given to the Company), there are many factors to consider and this includes the working environment, career paths and growth chosen by the employee, other employee benefits, et. al. So it does not mainly depend on the salary.
Thank you for the invitation, Many individual are pursuing their careers as their main point of growing disregards of having a lower salary specially on the beginning of their career ladder, while good work environment, colleague and respected operational Management are the second factor of employees happiness, motivated and productive at work, thank you.
its all about recognition and that has many ways such as salary ,rewards , Development or even thanking words
Lets ask the question in another way: Does money makes our jobs enjoyable?!
May be high salaries can demotivate us!!
The relation between financial compensation and motivation in much more complex.
I believe that other factors are integrated in this matter such as moral compensation, the surrounding environment, the background of the company, our personal short and long term goals.
The functional environment may be the catalyst
Salary plays a big role but there are other factors too. Financial wise, rewards or bonuses specially short term goals can create immediate motivation for the employees. The other factor is the office environment and job security. As long as the employee is happy with where he is working the financial side starts losing its importance.
Yes. Salary plays significient role. But employees productivity depends on motivaion and timely recognition and rewards for his /her efforts or the contribution towards the job. And the working enviroinment also important. Higher salary doesn't mean taking employee for granted.
This is not the only factor, though it defenitly contributes to the satisfaction level and has a possitive effect on productivity
Yes Compensation Salary, Self Respect, Job Security.
In a firm with large no. of staff, keeping one's salary confidential is extremely difficult especially at the time of annual pay increments- this leads to comparison with other staff of the same grade as oneself and the level of increment is seen inevitably as a token of top management's acknowledgement of one's efforts, and how one's CR has been forwarded by immediate superior. Hence apart from the pecuniary aspect, salary/salary increment has an emotional factor to every employee including feeling of self-worth and acknowledgement of of one's efforts by top management.
For professional minded employees it is equally important to have professional and ethical superiors who are seen and heard to be so, as also an inclusive work culture where employees at all levels have at least an occassional interaction with the top management where firm's immediate and long-term goals including fiscal are spelt out,
