What is the best certification out there for Project Managers who want to switch from network project management to IT project management?

I am thinking of taking up ITIL in order to do the next step in my career. Not sure if it is worth it.

If your planning to start taking ITIL , i recommend you target all the certificate gradually. the ITIL will give you a chance to open new career area especially if you tried to run the functionality by your self and practice it. Also you need to take TQM, the market in need. If your are looking to be a project manager you need to take PMF, and PMP this another track not like ITIL.
