Greetings,

First and foremost it must be acknowledged that operations management is mostly related to the management of risk and financial.

In most cases, risk is the function of finance and operations adequacy is the product of balancing the two in any business activity.

Given the opportunity, for the first 60 days, the following items should be given the priority of execution:

1. Identify issues and problems

2. Identify the issues origin - internal or external

3. Determine the level of competency of the team in hand

4. Determine the solution option(s) - (a) transfer (b) modify (c) remove (d) manage

6. Determine the cost

7. Determine the 'aspiration' of the owner
