But you guys forgot the most important thing, >> the security mode << you got so set it to WPA2 that supports both personal and enterprise authentication with AES-based encryption mode with strong security....
Set the security at WPA2-PSK (AES) encryption mode and use alpha numeric password with special characters.
secure the wireless by putting complex password and change it atleast every3 or7 days
give the password only for the authorized persons that you wahnt them to access
dont share your personal stuff on the network
for personal or home network you can use following methods:-
enable mac address filtering in router is one way of defending unauthorised attack.
disabling the DHCP, give static IP to your systems and enable ip address filtering is another way of doing it.
enterprise level you can implement radius server authentication
