Colours , sounds, images live shows , games simple plays , mimicry all are vital tools in teaching a foreign language to children. We have to remember the natural method by which children acquire language . There should not be an emphasis on grammar and sentence structures. Children start learning by the development of listening comprehension ; subsequently , comes the speaking skill . Reading and Writing follow at a later stage ; preliminary school.
