Sometimes it is necessary in order to move persons in the right direction. Like the game "go" you need a diversion in order to get the results you want.

Yes I would do it to motivate and refresh my team from time to time.  Playing with the team helps them grow with me and in turn co-operation and co-ordination becomes easier for the team because they know me as a team player too.  Respect comes easier and a give and take is always there on the cards whenever the need arises.

The organisation is the best place for this to happen as it builds the company as a whole and the staff become one with the organisation.  Reputation is built between people within the organisation.

Events as team player for leaders is important because it builds the bridge for understanding and dedication to each other not only in the line of work but in circumstances of the family incase of a need or requirement where one will help the other and performance is a gain and growth for all.  It brings humour in the life of an organisation and its leaders.
