in this situation, we should carefully listen the customer, from my point of view this is the solution, to see what the customer really need s and to try to achieve it, to find the best way to get the final product as per his needs.
It is a dangerous situation to be in as a business. A business would never come in this situation had they been always re-inventing and improving their quality of product and service.
To come out of a situation like this, you need to work backwards, go through all the customer complaints, study customer buying pattern, study the competition and understand how and where they have changed. Work and tackle all these issues simultaneously. Re-word the social media campaigns and re launch the new face of the business.
It means we need to look into our product research and development. We have to provide the solution to our customer need if we do not understand well then our products can not be able to meet their need therefor, first of need make clear understanding then develop a follow up system to take the feedback from customer to maintain not only current need but future needs too.
If I were you. I will call the research and core team who is responsible for the product and the services. Find out all the cons and tell them immediately to work on it and make it better and provide the best to our customer’s requirements. Further, I would like to 100% make sure to get the follow up system to receive and take feedback from customers to maintain not only current need but further opinions to make it better and much better.

You need to start evolving as a business. The only reason why it does not meet expectations or aspirations is because it is likely that the business in question remained stationary whilst its competition continued to evolve, this in turn gave better offerings from your competition to the customers and now they expect a similar or better level from you. This is how businesses usually evolve with time, its time to go back to the drawing board, conduct some research and surveys and tweak your product and/or service to better cater to needs to the people of today.
