Ex-works stands for the customer transportation "collection by customers directly from our store/ yard".

In general , it is also consider as good customer service because it can avoid

Time delay + on time delivery of goods to their customers directly + avoiding repeated unloading and loading process

EX-WORKS. Ex-works is related with transportation of goods or services from the premises of the seller to the premises of the buyer thus it states "that the seller is only concerned with availing the goods as per the specified criteria of the buyer in terms of right quality, quantity, colour, mode, packaging, branding, texture etc to the specified place whereas the buyer will transport the goods to their own preferred destination or premises", hence the seller isn't obliged to transport the goods purchased by the buyer. Customer collection from store can influence good customer service in that since the buyer visits the actual premises, maximum attention & effort will be a priority to best serve the customer. It also reduces on possibilities of beaurcracy. Thanx for the invitation
