Marketing is the process of feild research to identify the potential segments and to place company's products/services, where as Sales is the process of selling the products/services/goods in such a manner to persuade customers about the product benefits.
Marketing and sales. Marketing is the process of identifying, anticipating and then meeting the needs and requirements of consumers in order to make a profit. In contrast, selling involves persuading customers that your products or services provide the benefits that they are looking for.
