1. Ethics and integrity- while exercising authority entrusted to you as a manager or leader, you ought to display ethics and integrity in everything you do or get involved in and ultimately promotion ethics and integrity in your team and surbodinates. 2. Equity, fairness and justice- as a manager or leader entrusted with power, you must always ensure that there is equity, fairness and justice is served for everyone in your team or subordinates irrespective of their status. 3. Respect and confidentiality- as a manager or leader entrusted with power, you ought to respect every individual, promote respect among your subordinates and ultimately promote and encourage recognition and respect of privacy thus whatever is confidential has to remain confidential. 4. Effective and efficient communication-as a manager or leader entrusted with power, you must ensure that there is effective and efficient communication at all times in every stage or level starting from what you communicate to your team or subordinates and among your subordinates. A manager or a leader can exerciswe his authority by using his full powers entrusted to him by being a good team member.  He should be fair to all and delegate positively to earn the employees cooperation and for them to co-ordinate in any given task.  Give them a chance to share their ideas and share in a decision to create a good team spirit.  He should communicate to each one clearly to get the right action from them.  He must appreciate them when they have done a good job.  In this way the employyes feel happy and know they are cared for.  Empower them and encourage them to do their best in every task alloted to them completing them in time.
