Let me start with what you need to do is to make them feel comfortable with you, sit, talk and listen to them with respect and carefully, so that they may feel they are important, arrange a meeting with the team and ask them to suggest how to work together, always greet them and be friendly, and explain them how the work should be done, if the work is not done properly then call them and explain them in private. don't shout or abuse them because this will cause a gap in between you, you have to deal differently with each depending on the temperament of the person, not everyone is the same.
