KVI (key value items)  pricing seeks to answer question of relative importance or significance attached to certain specific or peculiar items which retailers or wholesalers deem very important or useful. Promotional pricing is a temporary strategy to increase sales of product through various promotional activities. Day to day pricing indicates the usual prices that are set by businesses thus it may take long to be changed. Strategic pricing looks at long time objectives, it looks at what the future might bring in business or how the future might influence prices & value for products
