How does literature affect society in the Arab world?

literature affects Arab world in the way that they can not stop people to read nor to write!

 

It did have an affect on older generations since they use to spend hours learning from the newspaper by reading articles, stories etc. Although, generation after generation, reading habits changed and been repkaced by tv's silly and non sense programs and shows since our economy systems has changed so I would say that literature use to have an effect in the Arab world but not anymore.

Thank you very much for the invitation and I would like to point out that the impact of literature on Arab society in general has not reached everyone only to some scholars and intellectuals and thus did not have the desired effect .. I am a HIF a history of the Onlin

The impact of literature on the Arab society has not yet reached the extent of action and change and the impact of the core .. Because our Arab people are not interested in reading in spite of the fact that it is a nation read .. But this literature can affect the societies in the event presented through another mediator, .. It is known that the majority of our people are in front of the TVs .. Thus, the televised literature can be a tool for change in the Arab society .. The impact is often negative due to poor content drama

Literature has always an influence in any society not only in Arabs, Important is whether the literature had been delivered with or with out the Criticism,  then the context of the Literature dangerously.
