I would like to say that the interview is a simple process if we do the formalities correctly and it will be complicated if we are not following the formalities correctly. If the candidate is not cool and comfort then that is our problem. First we have to make comfort him and then we have to question and collect the require details from him.
When we will apply proper recruitment process we will definitely find right person. We have to trust the skills of employee .
For me the best process is to keep a candidate on a probationary period and then evaluate his/her skills, but this is of-course not possible where number of candidates are very high. Case study like tests are ideal to evaluate how candidate reacts to a certain situations, this also examines the ability of a candidate to apply certain sets of knowledge with correct logic. For me this is the best skill 'APPLICABILITY OF KNOWLEDGE IN CERTAIN SITUATION'
