Job Description

Responsibilities include conducting research and evaluating Aftermarket and Original Equipment Supply (OES) market preferences for assigned product lines, including pricing, margins, FOB and profitability.  Collecting and analyzing data to evaluate existing and potential product/service markets.  Work with sales and marketing to develop strategies, identifying and monitoring competitors, and researching market conditions or changes in the industry that may affect sales. Develop annual written sales plan.  Incorporate information from research firms, data providers and first hand contact with suppliers, competitors and customers.  Build and maintain databases containing critical information on the product and competition.  Participate in development of short and long term sales objectives for the product line.   Qualifications   Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree and 3-5 years related experience, with a minimum of 3 years automotive experience, preferably aftermarket and original equipment supply (OES).  Ability to speak, read, and write in English. Bilingual English and Spanish a plus.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel - Advance, MS Access, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint).  Familiarity with internet search engines, Lotus Notes, AS400/BPCS, Stratum, and various database software applications.  Project tracking software a plus.  Should possess product management, sales, marketing and/or analytical experience.  Pricing development, profitability management and ACES cataloging format experience.  Ability to Travel Internationally up to 10%.   (answer is copied from searching on the internet to one of the Senior Product Specialist announcement)
