the protocal (MONA)is the best consequence to deal with acute coronary syndrome

- M for Morphine 

- O for Oxyegen

- N for Nitrate drugs

- A is for aspirin 

Note : Nitrate drugs for example :

  • Nitroglycerin (such as Nitro-Dur, Nitrolingual, Nitrostat).
  • Isosorbide (such as Dilatrate, Isordil).

In case of STEMI,

aspirine first 

 or clopidogrel if allergia, 

heparine 5000 Iv

if painfull, morphine carefully ( can provoque collapse)

beta blockers if tachycardia without Left ventricule failure ( carefully as well because of collapse risk either)

phone as soon as possible  in order to ask the coronarographist for additive drugs like EFFIENT or BRILIQUE depending of the age and status of patient ( bleeding risk)

then, load and go straight to the cath -room 

During the transport, statin and IPP can be administrate per os.
