What’s your approach to delegating work to employees? How do you ensure that tasks are completed?

While we creating a relationship with employees at the same time we have to maintain a disciplinery  enviornment . Dont run away from our responsibilities. because i am the responsible person who should make sure that the task is compleated. so a honest follow up is essential for what i given them. Convenience them the important of the task. give proper assistance and guidence ...always dont forget to appreciate once it compleated

1. Make a list of all the tasks for a day or a week or a month as required. 2. Identify urgent vs important vs not much important 3. Set realistic deadlines for the tasks to be completed, consider the time required. 4. Be flexible and adaptable. 5. Review your workload regularly.

You may introduce delegation scheme through some relevant procedure within the company which involves responsibility delegation down the line based upon some predefined criterias. It can be done departwise or processwise as per your scope like vesting signatory authoritiy to departmental heads on some particular mattters,formation of crossfunctional teams,taking decisions on offers etc.

risks v.s retutns are the company basic rule to seek so it depends mostly on the employee approach not mine and based on it i delegate

I would delegate duties yet do not deligate responsibilities at all.

 

If anything goes wrong it will be me.

Always Show them their side of the bigger picture, how they fit in as an important part of the organization and at the end of the day "Whats in it for them".
