The Scrum Alliance focusses more on Trainer and Training Quality so one should learn about Scrum in an Interactive class and not from books. So Scrum Alliance is the preferred track.
scrum Alliances is the prefered track.
Scrum Alliance and Scrum.org both serves the same moto of providing knowledge on Scrum. But most of the employers that I have observed look out for certification from Scrum Alliance.
These two are nothing but the certificate providers. I have both of them, but interestingly none of them fully satisfy me about what SCRUM actually is? But from employers point of view you will definitely get an extra mark if you have ScrumAlliance certification instead of Scrum.org certification.
Both these certificates are on Scrum and managed by reputed organizations. CSM is easy to earn by attending 2 days of class , classroom is mandatory while PSM requires doing exam and scoring 85% as pass marks. Most of the employers are good with any of these two since both bring some level of branding along.
If you are thinking of doing it online, you may consider doing PSM, you can explore online program for doing PSM here
Scrum Alliance is preffered
ScrumAlliance is the one which issues the CSM certificate.
Employers mostlypreferred by Scrum Alliance which will provide Certified Scrum Master
