The prospect / client database should be managed by the Sales Department within the Sales & Marketing Department. It should be managed by a Sales Administrator. It must be stored in a repository where the rest of the sales staff and marketing staff have access to add their sales leads. Duties of the Sales Admnistrator:
- Update it on a regular basis, i.e. weekly, monthly, etc.
- Distribute the file to the marketing teams to updated propected and current clients of new products and services;
- Updating dataase includes, keep contact details updated, remove / add clients or prospective clients
- Send propective / clients wishes on special occasions
- Invite prospect / clients to product launches or special company events
