Fire Safety
The Fire traingle illustrates the three elements a fire need to ignite: heat, fuel and oxidisinfg agent usually oxygen. A fire starts naturally when all these elements are present and mixed in adequate amount. The chemical chain reaction occours when these elements are combined causing fire.
Fire triangle :
1-heat
2- fuel
3- oxygen
if we need to stop fire we must block one item for this three items
so we can use chain reaction for these purpose as follow
1- water to low the heat
2-foam to block oxygen
3- halon to block fuel
A chain chemical reaction is one wherein a reactive intermediate species, often a free radical, catalyzes a series of quick steps that perform the overall reaction.
The fire triangle is a simple model to understand the elements needed for most fires. The chemical reaction of combustion can only occur if three elements are combined: a fuel, an oxidant, an activation energy in sufficient quantities.
the fire triangle are heat, oxygen and fuel .
The triangle illustrates the three elements a fire needs to ignite heat, fuel, and an oxidizing agent (usually oxygen). A fire naturally occurs when the elements are present and combined in the right mixture,Meaning that fire is actually an event rather than a thing. A fire can be prevented or extinguished by removing any one of the elements in the fire triangle.
If Fire has to happened three component must present.
1. Fuel
2. Oxygen
3. Ignition source
If all these three combines results in fire with exo-thermic reaction.
Chain reaction is a sequence of reactions where a reactive products or by products causes reactions to take place.Fire is a chain reaction among oxygen, sufficient heat and combustible materials which results in release of heat, light, flames and smoke.these three materials which are resposible for fire are called fire triangle.
