Zero accidents is something that we should believe in strongly and it certainly is achievable. Culture change, management commitment, training and proactive approaches are all key elements that pave the way to meeting this objective. Zero Lti would be a more realistic target to start with.

No, I do not believe it is realistic even though in all effort all should work towards achieving it. There is a danger that by too much focus on trying to avoid all accidents which are likely to occur more frequently, we may lose concentration on accidents that can be more serious but thought unlikely to happen.
