A normal sedan has two hundred mm track width where as a sports car has three hundred mm track width. It doesn't deal with the weight, because there are lot of sports car which are just as heavy as a normal passenger sedan. What could be the reason?
basic rule is the maximum area of friction surface the speed will get maximum also the braking system will also works better.
Maybe i can say that car has more power or strenght beacuase car has a engine to adjust the friction or force in contrloling it and plus the gravity pushes down.
Thank you for placing this question. See when an Air Craft flyies it takes air as a media. How much speed you will thrust the Aircraft spedd will be increased. At the same way a car make its speed by friction with trie and road. Now if the tire witdh is 150 mm it gets 60 km in 90 secends and 200 mm tire car gets 60 km spedd in 60 secends. The basic rule is the maximum area of friction surface the speed will get maximum also the braking system will also works better. You can get ant treavel bookinmg on Ruposhi Bangla Tours.
- friction depends upon the friction surface coefficient and the FORCE.
-more powerful cars will have more force , and consequently more wear & tear.
- to reduce the wear & tear , tires ara widened to reduce the intensity of force per unit area
