Current Audit Standards will be effective if you will handle it with your spirit and full time and more patients towards the accountability of each actions you find at  your works, it will not be effective if you are just only using a simplest tools regarding soft ware auditing tools, i might using the basic manual audit so i can do the effective reports to the company by puting my time for verefying all the records, Fragile when you not able to put your full time in auditing job because you are just depending in simplest and short cuts terms.

The current audit standards are robust and effective, this is driven by Senior Management downwards. In our industry, failing to follow laid down standards and procedures leads to injuries to employees and potential contamination to the environment, this results in adverse publicity to the company and will affect the business

It is effective. Its always effective . It all depends on the company or management who gives prime importance to adherence to standards and systems.
