always explain and communicate the purpose of every initiative you want to implement or start with members that are not under your authority
focus on empowering them and give them a clear and easy to follow action plans with realistic milestones and timelines
use your leadership skills rather than management skills and you will have followers for any direction you want to take

I build support for ideas and goals with people who do not report to me and I have no authority over them by mutual intersets and good cooperation ,
Also I do my best to have good relations with them , talking to them , discussing the ideas and goals wih them openly ,
I initiate and begin to give them and show them my viewpoints and idears anout their issues that make them trust me ,
