We must consider the Model year into the the comparison to figure out the result. If we are comparing the latest models of both, Toyota Camry has the lead as Toyota is improving the safety standard each year while Hyundai is not working much on safety standards.

I dont think personal opinion here is the way to know the answer, but every car goes under crash tests and then ranked.
