I do not believe in a fashion business where there is no physical contact with the customer.
Virtual contact entails great risk of returning goods. However, and in any case depends on the target market and the value of the product. I personally do not work for cheap companies. In a case like this after internalizing the company's mood, I would try to create a network where the same customer is making a promotion with the word word.
First i see the big company in this filled to see what they have
and then i have 2 whay
1- all news litters and mobile for groups and all souk by net social media
2- i send my team to visit shops and companys in this filled
1. Understand the history and where the company is at. Know the Vision/Mission so that you are in sync with the culture and what it plans to achieve.
2. Communication. Ask and learn. The first 3 months is the learning period. Because you come in as head of a department doesn't mean you know everything.
3. Application. Based on your experience and what you see in the company, apply the things you think will benefit the company. Make sure you don't step overboard and throw people under the bus to get what you want. Teamwork is key.
