It is the process of identifying hazards and evaluating the risk and the steps on preparing risk assessment are as follows:

1) Identify the hazards at the workplace which is anything that can cause harm to people and one step is to take each task and break into steps. Each step will have its own hazard and once hazards are identified it should be assess 2.) who might be harmed either the one who will carry out the activity or other near the vicinity of the work. 3.) Evaluate the risk and decide on the control measures, the risk is the likelihood of the hazardous event occurring and the severity of the harm when incident occurred, although it is not possible to reduce the severity, however, the likelihood of occurrence can be reduced depending on the control measures. The simple way to assess the risk is to allocate a description of High, Medium or Low to the level of risk. The control measures needs to be decided in order to reduce the likelihood to the lowest level. It is best to keep the record of the significant findings of the assessment for the future reference and use. The work is constantly changing and that it is best to review the assessment and revise if necessary
