Civil Engineering is very vast. The major field of Civil Engineering is the designing of any new structure and executing the same design in reality.
In my opinion, major fields of civil engineering are construction, transportation and structural engineering. My basis is what I've seen in here in the Philippines and Saudi Arabia. We can see also on the job website that they are hiring mainly for these fields.
