By evaluating present situations and predicting future trends.
The three major leadership behavioural styles Kurt Lewin can influence decision making in any organization. There are namely: autocratic, participative, and delegate leadership style. The autocratic also known as authoritative decision making is associated with a leader having a total control and ownership in making decisions in the organization. Here the leader makes decisions with no consultation or suggestion of ideas from his subordinates. This style works well when decisions have to be made quickly and in emergency situations. The participative or democratic style is more inclusive of the group. This is a leadership style that allows and encourages members of the group to express their ideas, and be involved in the decision making process of the organization. The Laissez-faire otherwise known as delegate style allows the leader to delegate the decision making responsibility to an individual or group. This style works well if the leader is surrounded by motivated, skilled and talented group of employees.
Strategy can be used in your daily decisions as managers who have worked with different situations in different organisation and are matured will be able to tackle any situation through making decisions effectively. Studying the situation they decide on the facts and figures infront of them however complex it is.
Thanks for invitation,
In a very brief wording:
Strategy is a big picture for "How the organization is going to be unique toward its industry, competitors, as well as customers?"
Strategy converts what the organization wants to do into accomplishments or converts plan into results.
