Marketing is entire organisational activities aimed at generating sustainable customer satisfaction. Promotion is the art of differentiating, reminding, informing and persuading consumers about an organisation and its products. Sales is the output generated from selling expressed in revenue.

In a nutshell, all these concepts are inter-depended as marketing and sales is only possible through organisation and product awareness which is made possible through promotion.
