The first and foremost thing is to see the Track record ( HSE - No of Manhours worked safely and QA/QC the NCRs and the actions taken ).
The second thing would be to look at the QHSE Policy Document ( Look for glaring loop holes or mistakes ) and the QHSE organizational structure - the team - The leads, the auditors etc.
The third thing is to understand the culture of the organization ( how the QHSE Policy is being accepted and implemented ) You need to walk around and talk to employees and this will give a better understanding.
The man hours worked or for work, if if we have a new contract, The quality control plan or policy, and the support from the owner for quality control department
Analyse the Current state
Gap analysis based on business needs and QA recommendations
Fill the Gap using company's Standard operating procedures
1. Understanding the company QHSE policy.
2. To go through the PQP.
3. Read the Specs.
As A QC first three things I have to do would be non other than the specification , standards and PQP .
Run programs to teach safety tips to employees of different departments
1st Understand company policies and adhere to it.
2st Read application Information and workaround documents. To understand the best way or practice to start and complete task.
3rd On time delivery of application build without any bug and maintain all workaround documents as per build release.
1. First, have to go through the Contract Documents such as Contract Terms and condition, specification, Soil Investigation report, Contract drawing, the scope of works and statutory requirements.
2. preparation of Project Quality Plan according to Project requirements and ISO10005:2005.
3. Conduct Induction training on Approved Project Quality Plan.
