event panning, is to plane the event from A to Z: date, time, location. segment, budget, activities, catering, printing, advertising. the planner should think about everything and all time have plane B if something goes wrong. Event management is managing the event during actual time and before. he will work parallel with the planer and find solution also for problems. the work for management event doesn't end until the event is done

The key difference lies in these two words: management and planning. In very simple terms, event managers manage the event and event planners plan the event. That being said, event managers may also plan aspects of events and event planners may manage certain components of the event planning process. Event managers and event planners work side by side, and sometimes their responsibilities may overlap.
