is my absolute favorite genre to read, all the time, no matter what mood I’m in. Fantasy is my preference ninety-nine percent of the time. The other one percent is when it comes down to very specific books. (If Twilight was considered fantasy and Phantom of the Opera was considered historical fiction, I would always choose the historical fiction.)
Fantasy, when written like true fantasy, is an old friend spread across dimensions, always ready to pull me in. Fantasy holds the other land I searched for when I was a kid. Fantasy is home to me. When the real world is too painfully logical and concrete to deal with, I can always find the soothing, more colorful world of Peter Pan or The Light-Bearer’s Daughter or Inkheart or Everlost or Labyrinth to crash in until I figure things out.
I also like science fiction and historical fiction.
I prefer to watch as its more easy and save time
