What is the difference in cable sizing between Motor Load starting with VSD and another one starting using star delta?

Wire sizing must be done in accordance with the Motor FLA however if  a VSD is used to drive the motor then it will definitely affect the sizing of wires although it depends on factors such as distance from the VSD to the motor etc  In a case where the distance is more than 50M the derating has to be done.

cable should select according to the current rating of the motor. 

VFD (not VSD) and star delta dont have particular role in it.
